Job Summary:
SLPs provide direct treatment of speech/language intervention services to students throughout all 3 programs, ages 3-21. Students receive individual or small group therapy in either a pull-out or collaborative/classroom setting. SLPs demonstrate competency in understanding visual and multiple disabilities, working effectively in a team, adapting therapy materials and employing a variety of techniques to provide optimum support to each student. They relate well to students, use consistent, proactive behavior management, tailoring instruction for student success and independence, while creating a safe and orderly learning environment
