Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive services for students with speech and/or language disorders, adhering to state and district regulations. Responsibilities include implementing screening procedures to identify students needing corrective instruction, participating in the Intervention Team and ARC, and using various assessment techniques for diagnostic evaluations. The role involves planning and delivering treatment in individual and small group settings, assisting with referrals to community resources, and regularly evaluating the effectiveness of services. The Speech-Language Pathologist will also complete required records and reports, demonstrate knowledge of special education regulations, and support instructional staff through consultations and demonstrations to enhance classroom strategies for students with speech, language, and hearing disorders.
