Services must be ordered by a physician or physician extender. The Speech Therapist also supervises and delegates appropriate functions to the Speech Therapy Student, New Grad or Rehab Technician.Required Education: Master's Degree in SLPRequired Skills:Basic computer skills, good interpersonal skills, basic organizational and time management skills, basic knowledge and skills to care for the physical and development needs of the population served.Preferred Skills:Advanced skills/certifications in specialty areas, such as VitalStim certificationRequired Licensure/Registration/Certification:Current Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist; BLSRequired Experience:Work/educational experience in the healthcare fieldPreferred Experience:One year experience as an Speech Language Pathologist in a health care setting.
