Join the LLA team today and let us help YOU Shine Your Brightest About Our School and Clinic Services With over 30 years of school therapy experience, LLA Therapy's motto is: Helping Kids Shine Their Brightest In order to accomplish our goal we pride ourselves on effective and streamlined communication, ongoing mentoring and support, collaboration between school and clinic personnel (intervention specialists, general education teachers, other therapy disciplines, psychologists, administration) and providing our professionals with the materials and tools they need to succeed (access to online assessments, shared therapy resources, templates, goal banks, and membership to online therapy tools). Essential Accountabilities for the Speech-Language Pathologist Conduct evaluations and report findings using electronic medial records or Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs). Report evaluation findings and therapy recommendations using family friendly language during meetings. Write relevant therapy goals and student/client information using electronic medical records or Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs). Provide ethical and evidence based treatment for assigned caseload. Document, monitor, analyze, and report students' progress and effects of treatment regularly in conjunction with school or clinic deadlines and procedures. Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and learning culture through collaboration and ongoing communication between school or clinic personnel and families. Maintenance and documentation of ongoing therapy minutes and report due-dates. Complete necessary Medicaid billing in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures. Requirements: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology. Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio Valid Driver's license. Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language. Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire) Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire) Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices. Must be able to handle stressful situations.
