Responsibilities: • Evaluate, assess and screen clients using appropriate standardized testing and clinical observational skills • Provide speech/language therapy according to OPWDD regulations • Supervise Speech Instructor on all services provided and evaluate progress, provide guidance and mentorship and conduct performance evaluations • Maintain documentation according to OPWDD regulations • Attend all meetings as scheduled and collaborate with other professionals, staff and families. • Create and monitor goals for six residences across campuses • Attend quarterly, annual, IDT meetings with school/residence as required • Work cohesively with school programs on coordination of speech services from school to home • Create and monitor speech trainings as needed • Work with CRP nutritionists for those individuals that may have certain dietary restrictions. • Other duties as assigned DDI is committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and employees without regard to actual or perceived race, color, sex, pregnancy, reproductive decision making, gender expression or identity, national origin, disability, military status, creed, religion, age, sexual orientation, marital status, genetic information, status as a victim of domestic violence or any other group protected by federal, state or local law.
