Responsibilities Speech Language Therapist - Speech Program Provides schools with Language Therapy services in accordance with associated fund/s. Designed for students identified as having articulation, language, voice, and fluency difficulties. Role & Responsibilities: Collaborate with teachers and parents to identify students who may benefit from language therapy services. Conduct required speech and language evaluations, in compliance with associated fund. Develop individualized and age-appropriate treatment plans using evidence-based techniques. -Should address each student's specific needs and goals, targeting articulation errors, language (receptive, expressive, and processing), voice, fluency disorders, tongue thrust, and other speech sound production issues. Facilitate engaging and interactive group therapy sessions (maximum 5 students) that target articulation, voice, language, and fluency skills. Monitor student progress through ongoing assessments and data collection. Provide consultation and support to teachers and necessary school staff in an effort to: Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with speech and language disorders. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals, to ensure a coordinated approach to student support and progress. Qualifications: Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of articulation and fluency disorders in school-aged children. Expertise in developing and implementing age-appropriate therapy programs for articulation and fluency interventions within a school setting. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments for all students. Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program NJ Certificate of Speech-Language Specialist OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must understand that all children can learn. Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude toward internal and external customers. Must be flexible. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred. Must be available to work during the summer months.
