As the Speech Therapist you'll: - Create customized therapy plans based on assessment results and student goals.
- Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes, therapy plans, and progress notes.
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate closely with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams to set and monitor therapy objectives.
- Stay updated on advancements in speech-language pathology through continuous professional development.
- Educate students and families about various communication and swallowing disorders, offering practical strategies for improvement.
- Deliver compassionate therapy services to clients with diverse communication and swallowing difficulties, ensuring individualized care and support.
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Georgia State Speech Language Pathology license.
- Prior experience with elementary-aged children in a self-contained classroom is preferred.
