Position SummaryThis position will focus on the new sales and renewal sales for the Black College Hall of Fame (BCFHOF) Classic and other Pro Football Hall of Fame (PFHOF) special events, programs, and special exhibits, as well as the set up and activation transitional activities of the new partnerships secured. This position will involve all aspects of the selling process including prospecting, outreach, proposal development and contract execution.Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Grow Sponsorship departmental revenue by prospecting, developing and closing corporate partnerships for the PFHOF and related programming and special events with a key focus on selling new and renewing existing sponsorships for the BCFHOF Classic.
- Identify new business revenue opportunities utilizing existing and newly created partnership inventory (i.e., digital media & content, promotions, activation spaces, custom retail initiatives, branding, hospitality, youth & education programming, and community service).
- Develop a strong understanding of key differentiators and the competitive landscape.
- Diligently prospect by investigating prospective companies.
- Build relationships and sell consultatively to drive buying decisions of executives at small, medium and enterprise companies.
- Work with clients to quantify opportunities via a detailed needs analysis and create solutions to deliver and ensure a smooth end-to-end sales process.
- Entertain and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Prepare, implement, and compile data for strategic sales plan, forecasts and other reports as directed or required.
