If you answered yes, keep on reading.The Sports Book Assistant Manager is responsible for effectively managing Sports Book Supervisors and Ticket Writers in a high-performing, welcoming environment that is focused on customer service and compliance. The position assists with the scheduling of Ticket Writers/Supervisors to ensure full coverage of sports book terminals and generates opportunities to promote a positive image for the company within the industry and community.What You Will Do:Effectively manage and schedule Sports Book Supervisors and Ticket Writers to ensure full coverage of sports book terminalsPlace and replenish sheets/parlay cardsWrite compliance paperwork/MTLsManage cash drops and cash replenishmentApprove ticket cashing as determined by approval matrix and internal controlsAssist in Reward card signupMaintain thorough knowledge of sport betting terminology to assist customers with placing wagersEnsure policies and procedures are adhered to on a daily basisDevelop relationships with customers and ensure they feel welcomedKeep a par list of supplies for the Manager Provide support to Ticket Writers to handle customer complaints/disputesAssist in handling the day-to-day activities of a sports bookFoster an environment focused on customer service and compliancePromote a positive image for the company within the industry and communityEnabling and disable kiosks for daily wageringMonitoring customer activity on kiosks for compliance and AML purposes.Reset unregistered cash and payout totals and complete necessary paperwork for kiosk wageringMonitor back office status for kiosk error faults, perform trouble shooting steps for repair, and escalate to next line support when applicableWhat You Will Need:2+ years' experience as a Sports Book SupervisorMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionMust be confident in one's ability to assess situations and make informed decisionsGood interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage relationships Strong problem-solving skills Ability to manage a diverse range of activities and effectively prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to obtain and/or be eligible for work authorization, regulatory licensing (where applicable)Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
