Job DescriptionAdams Publishing is looking for a sports editor/reporter for the Little Falls, Minnesota location. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable writing an enterprise piece on booster club finances, a gamer or a feature on a top prep athlete. Responsibilities and DutiesWrite features, previews, game stories and analysis for area sports and recreational teams.Contribute to the newsrooms' efforts to effectively cover and inform the community.Qualifications and SkillsThe successful applicant will have; Insatiable curiosity about all kinds of sports and recreation (not just prep athletics.) An excellent grasp of interviewing and writing techniques and a demonstrated knowledge of how multimedia enhances reporting. Leadership skills and a team player mentality Four-year post-secondary degree in a related field or comparable practical experience in a work environment. Experience using social media Technical competence with Web-based content management.
