Essential Functions
- Ensure strict compliance of all OCCC regulations and federal IRS requirements.
- Write, verify and finalize payment on sports wagers.
- Maintain accurate cash bank.
- Answer questions relating to sports betting wagers and/or betJACK sportsbook app.
- Provide superior customer service and build relationships with casino guests.
- Own and organize a clean sportsbook counter area.
- Follow service procedures, policies and standards and support the team.
- Stay current on all compliance training and SOPs.
- Adhere to quality and quantity standards and control mechanisms.
- Accurately complete all required gaming forms, maintaining customer confidentiality.
- Keep ahead of customer service industry trends, challenge the status quo, and apply best practices or new ideas to areas of improvement.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic math skills.
- Proficient using point of sale terminals.
- Must possess knowledge of sports betting markets, products and customer.
- Meticulous cash handling practices.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Heightened attention to detail while recording guest information.
- History of maintaining an accurate cash bank
Education and Experience
- Previous cash handling experience required.
- Sportsbook/casino experience preferred.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
Required Certification/License
- Must be able to obtain, and maintain an Ohio Casino Control Commission Sports Gaming License
