Lacks Enterprises, Inc., an innovative leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Automotive spray painter to join our R&D team. If you want to be involved in the development and creation of painted automotive parts before they are mass produced in production, this job is for you. If you want to take your knowledge of automotive paint to the next level, then this job is for you.
**Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:**
* Strong understanding of automotive paint systems and troubleshooting techniques
* Candy paint / Tri-coat experience preferred
* Knowledge of spray painting equipment use, cleaning and maintenance
* Strong basic math skills
* Excellent communication skills / team player
* Self-motivation and strong willingness to learn
* Computer literate
**Responsibilities for this position include:**
* Painting using solvent borne paint systems using HVLP, conventional, and E-stat equipment
* Color development and matching
* Equipment cleaning and maintenance
* Prep parts for paint (masking, cleaning...etc.)
* Paint lab cleaning and maintenance
* Preparation of parts for painting (masking, cleaning, etc.)
