The primary responsibilities may include performing installations, making modifications or repairs to sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and codes.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorking knowledge of Fire Sprinkler SystemsAble to work unsupervised and perform to a high standard of workmanshipBasic knowledge in the operation of hand and power tools common to the tradeMaintain knowledge of current industry standards and new technologiesMaintain a clean and safe work area, including company vehicle, and must adhere to company safety policies and proceduresMust have valid Driver License and good DMV recordQualificationsIndustry Experience (Preferred)Driver's License (Required)Knowledge of NFPA StandardsOnly applicants that possess the minimum qualifications will be considered. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.Schedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayRotating On Call Shifts (Service Department Applicants)Compensation: $25 - $35/hour dependent upon experiencePhysical RequirementsThis position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. The position requires climbing ladders and scaffolds, as well as the ability to work in excess of 40 feet above the ground. He/she must be able to navigate the jobsite and must comply with all company safety requirements in the office and on the jobsite.
