hybrid in Trenton, NJ What You'll Do - Responsible for the core database development for a custom application.
- Maintains, enhances, designs, and administers data dictionaries, as well as physical and logical database models
- Collaborate with different teams both inside and outside of the department to understand and assimilate data
- Design and develop secure data lake systems, migrate data on MS SQL platforms, understand and interpret Oracle scripts, build scalable and secure systems
What You'll Need Required:
- Extensive IT experience using database technologies, specifically Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and above.
- Advanced experience in writing, debugging, optimizing and performance tuning stored procedures, views, UDFs and complex Transact SQL (T-SQL) Queries for highly concurrent OLTP (online transactional processing) systems.
- Extensive experience writing Transact SQL (T-SQL) Queries, dynamic queries, indexes, constraints, views, functions.
- Advanced experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database design for highly concurrent OLTP (online transactional processing) systems.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration services and Reporting services (SSIS & SSRS).
- Experience managing multiple DB environment setups (Including production).
- Extensive experience in maintenance of highly concurrent OLTP (online transactional processing) systems.
- Prior experience troubleshooting SQL Server service outages as they occur, monitor system's health and performance.
Preferred:
- Oracle Database design in the past

- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
