Clover Consulting (a Myticas company) has a large, direct client in Lansing, MI in need of a Part-Time SQL Server DBA. This is an onsite position.
Requirements:
- Monitor performance of database systems resources and query throughput
- Optimize SQL Code as necessary
- Monitor and maintain database storage resources
- Monitor and maintain database maintenance plans for backups, index rebuild/defragment, and database statistics
- SQL Server Installation, Upgrades, Migrations and Configuration
- Install database software service packs and cumulative updates as necessary
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience as a database administrator in SQL Server environment
- 2+ year experience in Transact SQL, DTS, SSIS package development
- Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) preferred
