The base salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 per year. Additional incentives bring total potential compensation to $160,000 - $170,000.As an Advance Local Sr. Account Executive, you will be part of a dynamic sales team driving advertising revenue for one of the country's largest privately-owned media companies. Our ideal candidate can be located anywhere in Delaware, Connecticut, New Jersey, or the greater NYC metropolitan area.What you'll be doing:Achieve your sales goals by prospecting new business and developing existing accounts to grow our overall brandMeet with local decision-makers to uncover and understand their business needs and goals and advise clients on our comprehensive product mix including digital ads, search, social, email, video, mobile and print solutionsCollaborate with colleagues to design custom advertising solutions and marketing campaigns to fit your clients' needs, and to close new businessPresent solutions to clients, working collaboratively to achieve the product mix aligned to their goalsBuild rapport with clients for retention and upsellingReview campaign results, learn from data and celebrate your successesWork with our advertising fulfillment team to provide performance data insights for each client campaignOrganize your day by pivoting to various sales activities to continuously build your pipeline, and work under deadlinesUse your self-motivation and resilience to persevere through the cold-calling processOur ideal candidate will have the following:Bachelor's degree or a combination of education with related experienceExperience in digital advertising is preferredProven success of increasing sales, meeting and exceeding quotas in a competitive marketplace, and business development of top-tier cilents using a solution-based selling approachAbility to control the sales process both virtually and in personSkills to effectively negotiate and close sales with our productsCreative mindset to break down barriers and overcome objectionsExcellent communication skills - to write, create and deliver compelling presentations, with a polished demeanorFamiliarity with CRM sales management software experience, ideally SalesForce (we'll provide training)Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Power Point & Excel to create presentations and review data
