We offer a variety of technology solutions including Fashion Technology, Managed Services, BPO, Learning Solutions, etc. CGS has offices throughout the US, Canada, Chile, Colombia, UK, Israel, Romania and India.
We have a new opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in our growing organization. Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Help in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with financial audits.
- Help in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies.
- Provide support to the Controller and other members of the finance team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years experience working at a large CPA firm.
- 2+ years of hands on Accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Must have experience managing the month/year end closing process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with financial reporting and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
Salary Range: 80K-120K
