FS Companies are committed to ensuring the continued profitability for the company, their owners, and their customers, while enacting to help the environment and greater good.6566 CR 236 Findlay, OH 45840JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Sr Agronomy Admin AssistantReports to: Vice President of AgronomyClassification: Fulltime, HourlySupervisory Responsibilities: No Direct ReportsSummary/Objective: Agronomy record keeping, office operations, and other duties as assigned by management while maintaining an attitude that promotes teamwork within Legacy and a positive image of the agronomy department and Legacy as an overall company and cooperative.Essential Functions of the Job:Prepare monthly agronomy financial branch reports for VP of Agronomy and Agronomy Management StaffTrack Agronomy program credits and chargesMaintain an accurate record of all agronomy purchases and salesAssist in perpetual inventory records, adjustments, and accuracyTroubleshoot branch margin issuesMaintain retail pricing in database, retail price sheets, and product code setupWork with agronomy branch administrative assistants in directing and assisting them as needed in good record keeping and accountabilityUpdate office and bookkeeping procedures to achieve maximum efficienciesWork with all agronomy department managers and staff in assisting them as needed and as availability allowsRequirements:High school graduate with additional business background3-5 years of administrative experienceWorking knowledge of ag business to be able to answer minor technical questionsGood organization skills a mustMaintain a neat and clean work environmentWork with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and controller to maintain accurate and efficient recordsGood understanding of accounting methods and spreadsheetsSelf-motivated and ability to work well with others and independentlyRequired to uphold LFC's Credit and Safety policiesAbility to adapt to and work longer and/or varied hours during busy season as the needs of the business dictateCustomer-service focusedHelp in any way possible to achieve Legacy's mission and goalsAssist or back up agronomy manager and/or other agronomy department managers when neededStrong interpersonal and verbal communication skillsMiscellaneous Information & Preferred Experience:No overnight travelStandard work week is Monday through Friday; needs of the business may dictate exceptions to this standardApplicants agree to be drug tested as a condition of employment and will not be hired should he/she fail to produce a negative testBasic computer skillsUphold all Legacy Farmers Cooperative's policiesPossesses flexibility and adaptability in meeting constraints and demandsThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
