About the Company: ENOSEMI is a leading innovator in optical interconnect technology, specializing in the development of advanced analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits co-designed with photonics that enable high-speed data transmission. We are committed to fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration, where everyone can gain hands-on experience and contribute to cutting-edge projects.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Analog Mixed Signal Design with experience in Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIA) to join our dynamic team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on the design, simulation, and testing of analog and mixed-signal circuits, contributing to the development of high-performance ICs for optical communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and simulation of analog and mixed-signal circuits, with a focus on high speed linear Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIA).
  • Perform schematic capture, circuit layout, and verification using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Conduct simulations to evaluate circuit performance and optimize designs for various parameters such as gain, bandwidth, noise, and power consumption.
  • Participate in the design review process and provide constructive feedback to enhance design quality.
  • Assist in the testing and characterization of fabricated ICs, analyzing measurement data to verify design specifications.
  • Document design processes, simulation results, and test procedures clearly and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including photonics, layout, and test engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIA) design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in using CAD tools for schematic capture, layout, and simulation (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, EMX, etc.)
  • Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques for analog circuits (e.g., oscilloscopes, network analyzers).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high speed TIAs (100+ Gbps, PAM4)
  • Knowledge of other analog components such as operational amplifiers, filters, and so on.
  • Strong understanding of noise analysis
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data analysis and automation.

What We Offer:

  • Hands-on experience in a real-world R&D environment.
  • Mentorship from experienced engineers and designers.
  • Exposure to the entire IC design flow, from concept to testing.
  • Networking opportunities within the optical interconnect and semiconductor industries.
  • A collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
