Hazen is seeking candidates for a Sr. Associate position focused on wastewater engineering and project management. Candidate will be involved with a wide range of projects to include planning, design, permitting, and construction. Candidate shall be capable of supervising junior staff and managing projects. Candidate shall also be able to lead business development activities including preparation of proposals and presentations.The position will include client development, project management, technical leadership and staff mentoring in the Western NY, Central NY, and PA area. Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel.Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years' experience in the water/wastewater field (including project management).
- Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in planning, design, and construction for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Proficient in all MS Office based computer software.
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Self-starter with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- A current PE license is required (NY preferred or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of employment).
Educational Requirements: BS degree in environmental, agricultural, civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering (MS or ME preferred)
