You will be working in a business facing Information Technology role, with a mission to increase business value delivered to the Sales teams, by understanding the challenges, gathering requirements and collaborating with technical teams to implement solutions. The position works with the management team to turn strategy into action, liaises with the technical organization and business stakeholder groups to determine priorities, timelines and costs of specific projects. Main Objective:

The Senior Business Analyst position works directly with business departments supporting the Sales business process. The candidate will be responsible to manage a pipeline of Information Technology projects and enhancements from conception to implementation and support. A successful candidate must have experience implementing IT projects in one of these areas: Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with business stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and work with the IT teams to architect solutions that can be delivered.
  • Deploy appropriate methodology for the identification and documentation of business requirements.
  • Elicit, capture, analyze, refine, articulate, and document business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Author and maintain, detailed functional requirements that can be used by both the Development and Software Quality Assurance teams to build and verify technology solutions.
  • Facilitate collaboration among business units for documentation of AS IS and To Be Processes and analyze process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform data analysis and review business rules with the business stakeholders to refine requirements.
  • Translate the business requirements and business rules into source to target data mappings to integrate multiple systems.
  • Support functional testing cycles including test planning, script development, test execution and defect resolution.
  • Plan and manage user acceptance testing activities including end to end issue resolution.
  • Provide deployment, training, and change management support to business users.
  • Troubleshoot and facilitate issue resolution by suggesting techno-functional workarounds.
  • Communicates with different levels of management for requirements and status reporting.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues involving designed solution.
  • Engage in efforts to establish scope and business case for new programs and initiatives.
  • Assist Delivery Manager and the IT teams, to develop a roadmap of projects and initiatives to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Work with the management teams to convert strategy into action.
  • Manage individual project software releases and initiatives.
  • Project Management and mentorship of junior level analysts.
  • Always recommend and participate in process improvements.
  • Benchmark current and future processes against industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate Arthrex from its competition.
  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field required.
    • 5 years of related information systems experience as a Business Analyst or IT Product Manager
    • Experience working with Sales business group
    • Strong background in business process analysis, requirements, and design, as well as data modeling and detailed functional design.
    • Proven ability to handle many diverse projects at once and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
    • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to meet responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.
    • Accountable team player with a constructive attitude, problem-solving and customer service mindset.
    • Excellent team player and able to work with virtual cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
    • Previous position in Pharma or Medical Device industry a plus

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

    • Understanding of the major functions in a global organization.
    • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
    • Strong familiarity with agile and waterfall SDLC processes.
    • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level.
