Objective of Position : The Sr. Card Services Specialist is responsible for performing necessary functions to explain, promote, establish, and maintain credit and debit accounts and services. Duties and Responsibilities : Processes ATM, debit card, Zelle, online banking transactions and ACH disputes in accordance with Regulation E, Mastercard liability, and NACHA rules. Processes general ledger transactions. Reviews daily reports and performing maintenance as needed. Monitors and processes requests from work queues and department emails. Assists incoming callers to the departments hotline. Maintains focus with the progress of individual and department goals. Is available to assist fellow team members with card related inquiries and problem solving. Recognizes the need for additional training within the Card Services department and work directly with the Card Services Team Lead or Supervisor to develop and implement procedures, guides and/or FAQs. Continuously evaluates processes and procedures and suggest methods for efficient dispute processing and daily task completion. Ensures all department documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures as it pertains to this position, including completion of required compliance training. Qualifications : Associate degree or equivalent, preferred. 2 years banking experience, preferred. 2 years of Regulation E, Mastercard Liability and NACHA experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be outgoing, have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Physical Demands/Work Environment: Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices. Compensation & Benefits: Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels. The anticipated hourly range for this position is between $24.04 to $28.85 In addition, Byline provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, paid time off and much more Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs.
