As a Senior Chemical ProcessEngineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving processoptimization and efficiency in our Geismar, LA location. With your extensiveexperience in chemical process engineering, you will guide and oversee allaspects of process design, improvement, and troubleshooting. Your expertise inprocess simulation, equipment sizing, and optimization will contribute toincreased productivity, reduced costs, and improved safety. Your stronganalytical skills and attention to detail will ensure compliance withregulatory requirements and industry standards. You will report directly to ourSr Chemical Plant Ops Manager, and you'll work out of our Geismar, LA location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGuide and oversee all aspects of chemical process design, improvement, and troubleshooting. Conduct process simulations, equipment sizing, and optimization. Analyze and optimize process parameters to improve efficiency and productivity. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. U.S.PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate mustbe a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanentresident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
YOU MUST HAVEBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process engineering. Strong knowledge of process simulation software and equipment sizing. Experience in process optimization and troubleshooting.
WE VALUEBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.Experience in the refining or petrochemical industry. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
