Novaris search is working with a fast-growing, innovative contract manufacturer in the personal care industry. Our client have recently moved into a new location that allows them to double their current footprint. As they expand and invest in new equipment, theyre seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Chemist to help create groundbreaking products from concept to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and formulate personal care products, with a focus on emulsions, natural deodorants, and hot pour formulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver creative solutions for clients.
• Lead formulation projects from concept to completion, ensuring products meet performance, safety, and stability requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to guide product development.
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges and provide practical, effective solutions.
• Research and select raw materials and innovative ingredients to develop high performance and innovative formulations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on formulation experience in personal care product development.
• Proven expertise in formulating emulsions, natural deodorants, and/or hot pour products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs.
• Open-minded, solution-focused, and highly creative approach to formulation challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a flexible, innovative mindset.
