Job Title: Sr. Cost AccountantJob Description
We are seeking a Sr. Cost Accountant to provide financial analysis of manufacturing processes to drive key performances. The ideal candidate will determine the appropriate data to collect to provide insightful data for decision-making, analyze manufacturing cost variances, and prepare recommendations for improvements. This role involves preparing strategic recommendations for management, product costing for new and existing products, and troubleshooting existing cost accounting issues.
Responsibilities
+ Provide financial analysis of manufacturing processes to drive key performances.
+ Determine appropriate data to collect for insightful decision-making.
+ Analyze manufacturing cost variances, determine root causes, and prepare recommendations for improvements.
+ Identify cost data analysis needs and work with appropriate departments to obtain data regularly.
+ Prepare analyses and materials presenting strategic recommendations to management.
+ Responsible for product costing for all new and existing products.
+ Troubleshoot existing cost accounting issues to correct problems.
+ Support the Head of Finance and Finance Director on ad-hoc projects as needed.

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting/finance or related field.
+ 5+ years relevant work experience in manufacturing and cost accounting.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (D365).
+ Ability to explain technical accounting to non-finance teams.

+ Drive simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement of processes and controls to achieve effective financial reporting and internal controls.
+ Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
+ Ability to communicate with professionals at all levels and with various professional backgrounds.
Work Environment
This position is fully in-office, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
