The position is responsible for identifying the strategic information needs for the BJs digital business and leading the development of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics measures and tools to provide actionable insights to the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust foundation in data products and prior experience with ecommerce analytics business needs
The Senior Product Manager will focus on the long-term strategy and iterative roadmap for the digital data and analytics products by partnering closely with the Digital, Retail Media, and Marketing analytics functions to identify and develop:
AI/ML ready digital data governance and analytics for business intelligence
Long-term marketing and media edge data and measurement roadmaps to enable Retail Media reporting, actionable insights, media modeling and personalization capabilities
Measurement strategies and solutions for advanced and complex decision making
Marketing data eco-system and appropriate tooling for the organization
The ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:
BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing, technology or related field
5- 7 years professional experience in product management, retail, consulting or related field
Understanding of online shopper funnel and web analytics
Experience with Digital Media and Ad Tech/Mar Tech data and analytics
Experience with Business Intelligence (BI), reporting, and visualization platforms and technologies.
Experience in gathering and transforming business needs into product requirements and developing actionable product roadmap
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead, manage stakeholder expectations, plan and estimate the level of effort required to deliver and launch a product. Demonstrated ability to own projects, think big and influence across all levels of an organization
Ecommerce experience with focus on data and analytics
Data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills
Excellent communication skills
Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, agile
