You use your highly developed technical knowledge and leadership skills to direct technical, scientific and business programs and manage resources in an assigned category, function or geography. You also take the lead in developing strategy, policy and direction. As a senior member on the management team, you interact with senior levels of clients and the technical and scientific community.
How you will contribute
You will translate business needs into robust technical quality strategies and programs and lead your team to successfully execute these strategies and programs across the supply chain, leveraging internal skills and external partners to accelerate efficiency. To deliver quality strategies, you will manage human and financial resourcing plan to meet agreed targets. In addition, you will use your highly developed communication skills to influence and partner with cross-functional senior leaders, explaining the impact and benefits of long-term quality strategies and programs; foster a culture of collaboration across the global community, identifying and applying consistent best practices and ways of working; lead and drive a culture of quality improvement, consumer focus, and value across the supply chain, and; develop and grow a diverse talent base that meets the business' needs and helps build the global pool of quality functional talent. You will also contribute to the management of special situations / early warnings with respect to plant investigations, root cause analysis and follow-ups.

What you need to know about this position:
This position is accountable for defining the strategic approach to rebuild capability, successfully redeploy QM Pillar and build a Culture of Quality and Food Safety that will deliver consistent quality execution, reduce losses, and improve ownership and 100% engagement, from the Core level and throughout the plant organizations. The ultimate vision is to deliver ONE approach to Quality at all nine internal manufacturing sites, across the US BU, robust skills, and tools to facilitate Quality autonomy and a strong bench of talent with full participation of our Operations partners by 2026.

Education / Certifications:
At a minimum, a Bachelor's degree is required; preferred Science or Engineering based degrees. Six Sigma certification/training preferred with working experience deploying Six Sigma principles
Job specific requirements:
10-15 years experience. Must be PCQI trained, HACCP trained, familiar with FSC 22000 standards and have working knowledge of FDA required GMP standards.
Strategic and critical thinking required- with working knowledge of Six Sigma problem solving approaches to support robust Corrective and Preventive actions and a culture of driving to root cause and eliminating issues for the long term.

Work schedule:
The standard working hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. However, there may be flexibility in certain situations, including the possibility of travel or weekend work when necessary.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $166,700 to 291,725; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
Within Country Relocation support available and for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
