Position Summary:This position works under the direction of the CFO North America and is responsible for leading the preparation of the forecast, budget, and financial reporting for Clinical Commercial Operations. This position is also responsible for FP&A activities and has oversight of the full P&L within clinical operations. This role is responsible for supporting the activities associated with creating and documenting the internal control framework necessary to support the commercial operations and group policy.The Sr. Director needs to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. This position proactively identifies risk-related issues through review of qualitative and quantitative data, anticipates obstacles, and then implements mitigating solutions. They are a cross-functional strategic leader working with many areas of the clinical operations team to help support, guide, and drive common business objectives.Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and perform all work in compliance with company policy, internal control manual, and within the guidelines of the bioM--rieux and BioFire Diagnostics' Quality System. Create, review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports, and prepare long-term strategic plans as it relates to clinical operations in conjunction with the GM and CFO North America. Ensure a compliant and sustainable internal control environment. Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing. Oversee the reconciliation of commercial revenue and OPEX accounts as assigned. Full financial ownership of the value chain within clinical operations including making recommendations on current processes, mitigating areas of risk, and ensuring compliance. Oversee and support the commercial team within all financial aspects for the commission plan generation, maintenance, and administration. Oversee contracting and pricing compliance with IFRS and group policy revenue reporting guidelines. Responsible for all reporting associated with all government reporting requirements as it relates to this position. Thorough understanding of revenue accounting practices including, but not limited to, ASC 606 and 842. Responsible for providing information to the sales team regarding customer trends, contract management reporting, and topics as it relates to volume requirements, shortfalls to contract requirements, and other items. Actively manage direct reports to improve performance, technical knowledge, and business understanding. This position works collaboratively in a cross-functional role with other departments. Perform other special projects or activities as assigned by CFO.Education, Skills, & Experience: Master's degree with 8 years of FP&A experience with 4 years of management experience as a team leader or equivalent leadership position OR Bachelor's degree with 10 years of FP&A with 4 years of management experience as a team leader or equivalent leadership position also accepted. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related fields preferred. Must have 5 years major ERP experience. Preferred experience with SAP transactions and reporting. Revenue Accounting experience highly preferred. Experience managing revenue over $100M highly preferred. Experience with CRM tools. Preferred experience with IFRS within a complex global organization. Strong financial planning and analysis background with extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, analysis, financial statement preparation, financial modeling, and other reporting. Proficient computer skills using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and analytics and BI tools using DOMO, Tableau, Alteryx, and other related business reporting and analysis tools. Must have strong process improvement skills and act as a change agent. Strong written and verbal communication skills for any level within the organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
