Your next role will design the next generation neutral host networks for wireless carriers and venues nationwide. We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Sr. Director of Neutral Host Network Engineering who can help us design, develop and productize shared wireless networks that revolutionize the neutral host business for the benefit of our venue customers and national wireless carriers. Based in our modern New York City, Atlanta, or Irvine office you will be responsible for transforming our neutral host wireless solutions.What you'll be doingAs part of the CTO Organization, you'll be responsible for developing new solutions for neutral host networks that enable scalable and cost-effective wireless coverage and capacity solutions for our clients. At all levels, colleagues will rely on your expertise to engineer solutions that leverage next generation technologies. You'll partner with leading OEM partners and internal technology teams to deliver carrier approved offerings that solve venue coverage and capacity challenges. It's a multi-faceted role, and day-to-day, you'll mainly be responsible for the following.Develop the neutral host network technology roadmap with wireless carriers and OEMs, leveraging technologies such as DAS/DRAN, MOCN, MORAN, and ORANEngage Wireless Carriers at national, regional and market level leadership to gain approval for technology solutions and deployment processesDevelop reference architectures and design standards to address specific verticals in support of Boldyn's business modelsWork with OEM and wireless carriers to obtain lab approvals and support FOAsManage internal Boldyn stakeholders, including Business Development, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and FinanceManage a team of engineers, contractors, and 3rd party labsDrive OEMs to achieve interoperability and support for shared RANDrive DAS OEMs and wireless carriers to evolve DAS solutions to optimize cost, space and power requirementsWhat you'll bringThink you could make a difference here? You will also have some of the following:Relevant major wireless carrier experience, e.g. RAN engineering, roaming, performance management, network operationsExpert knowledge of LTE and 5G NR RAN protocols, including ORAN, MOCN, MORAN, and roamingUnderstanding of E911/CALEA requirements and specificationsExperience with lab planning, management, and testingExecutive level engagement experience with major wireless carriersTeam leadership and cross functional leadership experience15+ years wireless industry experienceBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMSEEE/MSCE preferredMajor RAN and/or DAS OEM experience requiredPrevious RF design experience, including coverage, capacity, indoor and outdoor propagation tools, e.g. iBwave and Planet, requiredPrevious experience in network performance monitoring, management, and optimization, including subscriber Quality of Experience monitoringMicrosoft Office software suite skillsAbout usAt Boldyn Networks, we're reimagining the future of interconnectivity.
