If you are a strategic HR leader who excels at building strategies, engaging teams, and shaping the future of work, this role offers the opportunity to create a meaningful impact at scale.The Role: The Sr. Director of Human Resources - East Region is a pivotal leader responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy for one of the organization's largest regions, supporting over 5,000 employees across multiple sites. Partnering closely with the Vice Presidents of Operations, this role focuses on delivering an integrated people strategy that drives engagement, builds talent pipelines, and ensures a seamless employee experience.This position is perfect for a senior HR leader who enjoys creating strategies, delivering results, and developing impactful programs in a fast-paced environment.Where You'll Drive Impact:Strategic Leadership* Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy for the East Region, aligned with business priorities and operational goals.* Partner with the VPs of Operations to drive strategic initiatives, including workforce optimization, change management, and employee engagement.* Serve as a key member of the regional leadership team, contributing to the overall vision and direction of the business.Engagement & Culture* Build a culture of engagement and trust through proactive strategies that ensure employees feel valued and heard.* Integrate union avoidance into engagement efforts by addressing root causes of dissatisfaction and creating transparent communication mechanisms.* Empower leaders with tools and training to maintain a positive, compliant, and union-free workplace.Talent Planning and Development* Lead the region's talent planning efforts, ensuring a robust pipeline of leaders through succession planning, talent reviews, and development programs.* Partner with regional leaders to identify and nurture high-potential talent, accelerating readiness for future roles.* Design and execute leadership development initiatives, including the Operations Leadership Programming, tailored to build the next generation of leaders.Deliver a Seamless Employee Experience* Collaborate with Operations leaders to create a unified and impactful employee experience across the region.* Drive initiatives that foster inclusivity, psychological safety, and alignment with company values.* Leverage people analytics to measure and enhance the employee journey, addressing challenges with data-driven solutions.Team Leadership* Lead and develop a team of 4 Regional HR Managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.* Build HR capabilities across the team to ensure consistent, scalable, and effective delivery of people strategies.What You'll Bring:* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred.* 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a track record of managing large teams (5,000+ employees) and multi-site operations.* Expertise in employee engagement, talent management, and leadership development.* Strong understanding of labor relations and union avoidance strategies integrated into engagement efforts.* Exceptional influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills.* Experience building and scaling HR strategies in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.* Proficiency in using people analytics to inform strategy and measure outcomes.* Ability to travel extensively (50%+).What We Offer:* A high-impact role with direct visibility to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the people strategy for a critical region.* Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.* Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).* A collaborative, values-driven culture that prioritizes innovation, engagement, and inclusion.Our Values: We are One Team, we Nurture, we build Trust, we are Reliable, Agile, and Customer-Driven.
