We are recruiting for a Sr. Director, US Enterprise Programs Deployment Leader to be focused on driving a deployment excellence methodology across a set of global, multi-year programs. The leader will ensure optimized execution of these cross-functional, multi-release initiatives, managing key phases deliverables and interdependency risks. Preferred location is Summit, New Jersey however other locations in North America or South America will be considered.

What will you do
The Sr. Director position will be a critical part of the portfolio of Enterprise Programs, a set of highly complex, multi-year business and technology transformation initiatives that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain and Finance digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem, standardizing our core business processes across Supply Chain, Market and Financial Operations, and enabling our integrated data strategy. The portfolio is inclusive of the SAP S/4 HANA transformation, the Master Data Management Platform initiative, and the Finance Integrated Technology Transformation.
The key responsibility for this role to ensure individual project alignment and adherence to the program methodology, standards, and guidelines, driving a deployment and execution excellence mindset. The leader will have accountability for ensuring all connected applications have defined scope, budget, workplans and resources mobilized for successful deployments, actively managing key interdependency risks, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on budget. This will be achieved with robust action focused deployment governance, driving coordination across the individual projects related to project planning, interdependencies, risk management, testing and cutover, while ensuring alignment to a single deployment methodology.
This individual must leverage a refined, multi-functional toolset of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen to effectively interact with a breadth of business stakeholders and global process owners. The successful candidate must be able to engage and operate with OneS4 program team at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level.
The Deployment Lead shares the responsibility of making the overall effort a success. The candidate will bring in thought leadership, multidisciplinary thinking, action orientation, creative problem solving, and listening skills.
Major Responsibilities
1. Accountable for orchestrating cross program, global planning and execution, based on an integrated project plan & roadmap for the US with dependencies and mitigations, underpinned by the individual project release plans with multi-year horizons.
2. Lead the set of Enterprise Programs teams in support of the US: Test, Cutover, Hypercare and Change Management/Communications Leads to ensure standards and structures are being applied across all set programs in line with defined methodology and support critical project risk areas.
3. Accountable for executional deployment reviews, to ensure each project is executing to plans to enable the overall integrated plan to be delivered, with a bias for action.
4. Ensure each project follows the centrally governed stage gate process. This includes utilizing the scorecard and project phase entry and exit criteria and utilizing standard tools (e.g. focus build for requirement mgt, Jira for risk mgt etc.).
5. Primary escalation mgt for interdependency and key project risks. The individual projects will maintain risk management responsibility. Ensure holistic view across all aspects of programs driving status and risk tracking across solution and organization readiness
Qualifications
1. Minimum of Bachelor's degree required
2. Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or Information Technology required
3. Minimum of 10 years of Program Management leadership experience on large complex business transformation programs required, one of which being a large-scale ERP implementation
4. Demonstrable understanding of Supply Chain and/or Financial Process Operations required
5. Hands-on project management/delivery required
6. Strong communication skills, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms is required.
7. Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with demonstrable ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result
8. Ability to lead and facilitate design workshops (Blueprint), assessments and planning sessions for cross functional topics
9. Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., PMP, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence, etc.) is helpful
10. Requires Travel: up to 50% domestic and international.
