Job SummaryJob DescriptionMedline is hiring for a Sr. Director of Engineering position reporting to VP-Engineering. This role leads a team across the following key areas : 1. Transportation Engineering 2. Process Engineering supporting 40+ distribution centers 3. Medline's entry-level Operations Management Development Program (OMDP) focusing on process improvement and Labor Management Systems. 4. Supporting the overall engineering department's key initiatives including large projects and supporting our sites KPIsResponsibilities:
- Continuously improvement our processes through step change process improvements
- Help grow and develop engineering team members to create future leaders including our OMDPs
- Maintain our Labor Management System (LMS) and associated labor standards
- Help define the strategic roadmap of engineering and operations to improve safety, quality, service, cost, and people metrics
- Ensure the engineering department meets their financial commitments on capital projects and organize overall portfolio of works

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Industrial engineering preferred)
- At least 6 years experience distribution/warehouse environment; 12+ years overall
- At least 6 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work
