You will be part of an elite team responsible for driving revenue growth by delivering innovative solutions to the biggest players in the industry. Keys to your success will be building and ensuring customer trust and satisfaction, maintaining contact with the customer at an executive level, and working horizontally thru the organization developing the strategic nature of the relationship. Working with our senior management team in identifying target customers and onboarding them to Jabil. Typically, in this market segment the sales are more consultative than transactional in which the partnering decision is complex and long, value is the key, and focus is on the solution.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Business Strategy and Direction:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: You will create and implement a strategic plan to engage and expand our presence with Cloud& Enterprise Infrastructure customers which includes hyperscale cloud and consumer. This includes identifying key decision-makers, understanding their unique needs, and crafting tailored solutions to drive business value, which contributes to the corporate sales strategic direction.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with executives and technical leaders within hyperscale cloud organizations. Your ability to connect with key stakeholders will be crucial in driving partnerships and unlocking new opportunities.
  • Solution Selling: Leverage your deep knowledge of the cloud market and Jabil services to articulate how they address the specific challenges faced by hyperscale customers. Your consultative approach will ensure clients see you as a trusted advisor and not just another salesperson.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Understand the Jabil selling process: Prospecting; Pre-approach-planning the sale; Approach; Need Assessment; Presentation; Meeting Objections; Gaining commitment; and Follow-up.
  • Identify and qualify new potential customers with guidance from Sr. Management,
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and good client relationships.
  • Develop an understanding of the workcell and business unit strategies as it pertains to sales.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with our business unit, strategy, and marketing teams to create an environment of customer success. Will also need to align strategies cross divisionally with our consumer team that also touch the hyperscale customers, share insights, and maximize cross-functional collaboration.
  • Work closely with Business Unit, Engineering, Supply Chain and legal groups for quote and contract development.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce and its use to target new customers.
  • Provide regular updates to VP of sales and marketing team on the execution of the strategy.

Forecast Development and Accuracy:

  • Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure. You will be responsible for forecasting accurately and maintaining a healthy pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide expense budgets when required.
  • Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Create customer /product penetration strategies and the deployment of such for new accounts.
  • Interpret and communicate customer requirements to enable development of services and operational capabilities to support new customers and business opportunities.
  • Develop RFQ analysis and present formal presentation to customer; ensure key financial measures are achieved within each quote, including profitability and RONA targets.
  • Promote Jabil's capabilities, footprint and services to new customers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with new customers.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
  • Ability to tailor advanced quality tools training to all levels of the organization. Multilingual preferred.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
  • Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company's business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
  • Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
  • Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
  • Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management of continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
  • Strong and convincing communication skills.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

Education& Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area; MBA preferred; 3-5 years Jabil experience preferred or a combination of education, experience and/or training. Prior contract manufacturing sales experience highly preferred.
