Insight Global is looking for a Sr Drafter to join a shipbuilding company in Marinette Wisconsin. They will be doing more of the modeling and the 3-D workThey will be creating models and drawings of ship structuresThey will also take on some of the responsibilities of a Tech 1 drafter (re above). They will be sitting on the detail design team that is responsible for updating models and issuing changes.They will be taking a 3D model and extracting it to 2D that is then sent to manufacturing. These models will be structural pieces of the ship (ceiling, stiffener plates).
