The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in design, development, and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and assemblies.
  • Solid working knowledge in military standards associated with the design and development of tactical military equipment.
  • Solid working knowledge of applicable electrical and electronic industry standards, to include those upheld by IEEE and IPC.
  • Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) design using computer aided design tools.
  • Experience operating and controlling test equipment using scripting languages such as LABVIEW or MATLAB
  • Experience in addressing diminishing manufacturing sources (DMS) and electrical component obsolescence issues in existing designs.
  • Experience in EMI/RFI standards and implementation.
  • Experience in electrical power standards and power system design.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and preparation of MIL-STD documentation.
Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, circuits, or systems.
  • Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs.
  • Performs extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved.
  • Conducts research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.
Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise; Analytical thinking skills; Problem-solving skills

Required Education: Associates Degree

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Discipline/Major: General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree required

Experience: 5 - 7 years experience in a relevant function

Pay Range (USD): $74,550.00 - $138,450.00 Additional Compensation: Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Companys Gain Sharing Program. PTO, Holiday, and Family Leave: Employees will receive 11 paid holidays and 120 hours of PTO annually and up to 3 weeks paid family leave.
