We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Event Planner to implement company events for In-N-Out Burger that will align with the company's overall mission, foster engagement, and create a strong sense of community.
* This position is 100% in office and will be based in Irvine, CA.
General Responsibilities:
* Assist the Events Supervisor by managing the roadmap and timeline of future event needs. Develop procedures and initiate projects that support the regional events teams planning and preparation.
* Monitor and oversee execution of non-concert events. Offer direction to planners, manage team timelines/project tasks, and ensure successful results.
* Support the Events Supervisor with elevated administrative projects such as design requests, calendar planning, NDAs, COIs, venue sourcing, budget management, staff scheduling, contract reviews and proofing, etc.
* Conduct site visits with planners to vet venues, ensuring they meet the detailed requirements of each event.
* Innovate current practices with new systems and standard operating procedure, manage the communication and implementation of new processes logically, clearly, and promptly.
* Act as a role model, providing training and sharing knowledge and experience with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.
* Research and develop innovative ideas and creative assets to enhance event engagement, encourage attendee participation, and effectively communicate the organization's goals.
* Manage events, from initial concept and budget creation to venue sourcing, contract negotiation, logistics, and flawless on-site execution.
* Manage production vendors and on-site staff effectively, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, using wise decision-making, proactively troubleshooting, and creatively resolving day-of-event challenges.
* Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate success and identify opportunities for team improvement.
Work Schedule + Benefits
* Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
* Pay Range is $90,000 - $107,000 annualized salary
The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
* Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

* This position requires approximately 20% travel for events; including overnights, typically midweek and occasional weekends
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience)
* Certification in Event Planning or Management (e.g. Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) is desirable.
* Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in event management or a related field. Experience with diverse event types (e.g. corporate events, weddings, company parties, competition management/sports events, etc.) is desirable.
* Excellent customer service, communication, relationship-building, and negotiating skills
