SUMMARY
Provides necessary support for departmental employees with activities such as projects. Works with minimum supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Build relationships with local & state leaders (govt., business, community) in/near locations where TAI has a significant business footprint (immediate priority - NC)
* Liaise with local & state economic development when new projects present incentive opportunities
* Monitor key legislation relevant to TAI's industries and business
* Identify key trade/industry organizations beneficial to TAI's business priorities; represent TAI (or identify suitable delegates) & build/manage key relationships
* Liaison to Toyota Tsusho Corp. External Affairs groups
* Plans, conducts and directs complex projects or work necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches
* Applies advanced knowledge to complete projects of major complexity
* Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and typically more than 15 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
