DescriptionAbout the roleMyEyeDr is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in providing senior leadership with the information needed to facilitate strategic, operational and tactical decisions. They will also measure progress toward reaching company goals, analyze trends and focus on forecasting results for the future. The candidate will provide leadership with detailed analyses and reports to understand the performance of the business and its growth potential. The candidate will be primarily focused on building a deep understanding of business trends through thorough analysis and modeling and preparing reports to convey findings to leadership.Reporting to the Sr. Director, FP&A Business Support, this is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices. You Will
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Design and present focused, strategic reporting to field management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial highlights.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets. Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines, and identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Evaluate potential investments and acquisitions. Conducts ROI analyses to assess the financial feasibility of expansion projects and strategics initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting principles and internal controls. Collaborate with accounting team to provide support for financial audits, reviews and statutory reporting as needed.
  • Develop financial models to forecast various scenarios and long-range planning and assess potential risks and opportunities, guiding decision making processes.
  • Partner with field leadership to formulate financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals and private equity investor expectations.
  • Partner within the Finance and Accounting teams and with the Field Leadership team to build the optimal value for the organization.
  • Develop financial models to forecast various scenarios and long-range planning and assess potential risks and opportunities, guiding decision making processes.

  • Partner within the Finance and Accounting teams and with the Field Leadership team to build the optimal value for the organization.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • MBA or advanced financial certifications (CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in progressive Finance roles.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with a deep understanding of financial concepts and key performance indicators.
  • Prior experience in private equity backed environments and familiarity with investor reporting requirements a plus.
  • Previous experience managing teams preferred.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
  • Travel up to 10% - 20% of the time may be required.
  • This position is performed in a hybrid office environment.
