We are seeking a Sr. Materials Sourcing Manager to join our talented Softgoods team. In this role, you will lead and implement an enterprise-wide raw materials sourcing strategy. This includes partnering closely with product teams across our portfolio of brands to collaboratively define and refine an optimized material sourcing strategy that meets consumer expectations, supports unique needs such as innovation and sustainability but also builds scale and leverage when and where possible. You will also help to establish and grow supplier partnerships and manage and improve performance.This position reports to the Sr. Director of Global Sourcing - Softgoods and is based Onsite out of either our Bozeman, MT or Irvine, CA headquarters. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute global material sourcing strategies in parallel to finished goods sourcing strategies to improve leverage, service, quality and total cost of ownership across a global spend portfolio while also balancing diversification and riskEstablish processes and best practices to partner with Product teams around seasonal key materials timelines for supplier and materials selection and understand individual brand needs to build and refine a materials source base that supports market-leading design and category direction.Manage and develop supplier relationships and collaborate to drive performance, cost excellence, innovation, and sustainabilityConduct commodity specific competitor and industry analysis to identify cost, material selection, manufacturing techniques and materials sourcing to improve the company's competitive positionLead and influence continuous process and tool/data improvement opportunities to help improve analytics, efficiencies, and profitability within the departmentRequirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant area requiredMinimum 8 years of experience in materials sourcing, development, or planning including Mill partner selection and managementAdvanced knowledge of materials manufacturing and supply chainStrong influencing/negotiation skills and change management experience with the ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple prioritiesQuick learner with interest in understanding and applying global supplier best practicesAbility to work independently to deliver results and influence stakeholders internally and externallyAbility to take accountability for driving results and overcoming challengesDemonstrated ability to lead multiple projects across categories, commodities, suppliers and both HQ and Global business functionsStrong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with a strong sense of urgencyPay Range:Annual Salary: $143,000.00 - $165,000.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.We offer a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits including: medical and dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401K, PTO, tuition reimbursement, gear discounts and the ability to add value to an exciting mission!Our Postings are not intended for distribution to or use in any jurisdiction, country or territory where such distribution or use would violate local law or would subject us to any regulations in another jurisdiction, country or territory.
