The Sr. Human Resources Manager will be considered a trusted advisor to the business in relation to all areas of human resources in support of the Electrical Products (EP) business strategy in Shelton, CT. The Sr. Human Resources Manager will collaborate across the Electrical Products (EP) including other HR teams and the corporate Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Communications, Legal etc.) to drive company and business group strategic goals. This position will report to the Director, HR for Electrical Products Hubbell, Inc.Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference as you will:Serve as a primary liaison to assign area leaders to support engagement activities, culture change, change management and employee relations aspects.Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives with the overall business strategy.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on employee relations investigations and report non-conformances accordingly.Become a key partner for leaders in HR processes such as employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention.Run succession routines ensuring ongoing dialogue and continual review of succession and pipeline development.Advise and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions for identified challenges on organizational development.Provide guidance and conduct investigations of concerns and complaints; involve appropriate individuals, seek Legal advice when appropriate, and successfully resolve employee relations issues with credible, creative and consistent solutions; work with labor organizations as the need arises.Provide on-time reports and metrics as needed such as metrics, case analysis, demographic and headcount, turnover, among others.Lead business optimization initiatives by conducting individual or group training sessions for personnel.Optimize personnel utilization by increasing cross-functionality and interdepartmental collaboration.Measure the impact of interventions on staff performance, efficiency, employee retention, and job satisfaction.Document processes and present progress reports to senior managers.Maintain data in HRIS to facilitate organization charts, directories and transactional processes.Take on ad-hoc projects as needed.What will help you thrive in this role?Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, business administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Six (6)+ years of experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment preferred.Proven track record working with HR COEs.Computer and computer applications proficiency highly desirable, Microsoft Office a must.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently in an environment where interruptions are routine and frequent.Strong collaboration and relationship building skills.Creativity, innovation and the ability to solve problems and generate viable solutions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
