Job Summary

Sr. Income Tax Analyst to assist with compliance, planning and accounting for income taxes for the Company.

Job Responsibilities

* Draft tax provisions, including deferred tax assets and liabilities, income taxes payable and required disclosures for financial statement reporting in accordance with ASC 740.

* Maintain tax depreciation and amortization schedules for fixed and intangible assets.

* Assist in the preparation of tax supporting workpapers (PBC) for the income tax returns.

* Aid in the preparation of quarterly taxable income projections to be reviewed by our third-party tax preparers; ensure estimated tax payments are made timely.

* Compile data and documentation to assist in the computation and preparation of the research and development tax credit.

* Gather and maintain data and information to perform transfer pricing financial analysis.

* Collaborate with various internal departments to gather information and provide support for income tax-related matters.

* Prepare responses and assemble data requests for income tax audits, inquiries and correspondence for income tax-related matters.

* Conduct tax research and stay up to date on current tax laws, regulations, and rulings to provide guidance and support.

* Effectively explain tax concepts and information to various non-tax stakeholders including colleagues, and external partners.

* Develop and maintain effective internal control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.

* Prepare ad-hoc analyses and assist with departmental or corporate-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

* Minimum of 5 years relevant corporate tax experience in a public accounting firm or industry.

* Possess a solid understanding of US corporation tax compliance and ASC 740, including familiarity with C-Corp tax filing, preferred.

* Some international taxation is a plus, but not required.

* Have strong problem solving and analytical skills and be able to communicate findings in simple and concise terms.

* Excellent research, writing and presentation skills.

* Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

* Motivated to be able to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Team player with a desire and ability to collaborate with others and build relationships.
