Location:

The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid status of reporting to the One Energy Plaza in Jackson, MI every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with home office flexibility on Wednesday and Friday.

We are looking for: Senior IT Change Consultant

The Senior IT Change Consultant is a trusted advisor and coach to leaders at all levels and an advocate for the end users of IT projects/initiatives. The incumbent develops and executes strategy, and activation plans to enable the realization of business benefits and future state visions. Apply a structured approach to organizational change management and focus on increasing adoption of solutions and benefits realization supporting IT initiatives. Provide consulting and support to IT product families and project teams to ensure that the appropriate level of change management, communication, and marketing is planned, executed and measured for a wide range of initiatives including strategic planning, IT project implementation and operational support. Coaches team members on change efforts. May oversee the work of less experienced professionals including communication consultants who assist in developing segmented, stakeholder-specific communications.

The Finance Transformation & Technology (FT&T) team is dedicated to revolutionizing the financial operations of the Controller's organization. Our primary goal is to reduce operational effort by 30% by 2030 through the strategic streamlining and automation of processes and tools.

Department Objectives:

* Launch initiatives focused on modernizing financial operations.

* Simplify complex processes to enhance productivity and accuracy.

* Integrate advanced automation technologies to handle repetitive and time-consuming tasks.

* Develop and deploy automated tools to ensure consistency and reduce manual errors.

* Ensure seamless integration of new tools with existing systems for optimal performance.

* Continuously monitor and assess the impact of implemented changes.

* Foster a culture of continuous improvement to sustain long-term efficiency gains.

* Equip team members with the skills needed to adapt to new technologies and processes.

We encourage you to apply if you have:

* Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field with four (4) or more years of applicable experience

* [OR] Associate's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field with six (6) or more years of applicable experience

* [OR] High School Diploma with eight (8) or more years of applicable experience

* Experience building change management strategies, creating communications and training deliverables, and executing plans to support change initiatives; experience facilitating discussions with leaders to determine the best plan to communicate and improve adoption; and experience collaborating across teams and organizations to achieve desired outcomes. in the maintenance and/or operations of HVD/distribution substations and, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or design of protection, monitoring, and control systems.

In this role, you will:

* Facilitate meetings and focus groups with stakeholders.

* Measure the effectiveness of communications and change management by regularly evaluating successes, opportunities and risks, as well as incorporating feedback/lessons learned for continual improvement.

* Identify and evaluate skills needed to adopt changes, develop learning materials, and deliver (or coordinate delivery of) necessary training for impacted users.

* Design and develop effective communications such as newsletters, articles, emails, intranet content, presentations, videos, job aids and FAQs to promote and prepare for new technology, policies and processes specific to targeted stakeholder groups.

* Use change management methodologies and strategies, communication planning, organizational readiness assessment and stakeholder analyses to develop and execute vision, strategy and activation plans for large and complex changes.

* Other duties as assigned or may be necessary.
