They will provide technical leadership on complex projects, may act as expert in business or functional area, formulate/define system scope and objectives, devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Must also prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Additional responsibilities include program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Must maintain full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming; may also be responsible for multiple phases of a project.Main Responsibilities: Provides technical vision and direction for given aspects of projectsWrites design briefs and technical documents for projects and contributes to project requestsContributes to the development of project risk mitigation plans to ward off potential technical issuesApplies problem-solving abilities to familiar and unfamiliar technical disciplinesSolves technical problems with possible conflicts using knowledge from prior experience and technical disciplineLearns and applies existing technical processes, methodologies, and skills that lead to new technical processes or systemsProvides appropriately timed task estimates by understanding and planning for technical/project dependenciesImproves existing applications or influences technical direction on a project, resulting in time or cost savings to EcolabDevelops a network of people and resourcesParticipates in formal presentations to IS staff and business sponsorsMay serve as technical lead for portions of large projects, or overall technical lead for small and medium projectsKey contributor to application, data, and technical architecture designsKey departmental technical resource for a given technical disciplineBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in technical area or equivalentIncreasing levels of technical leadershipPreferred Qualifications: Financial or business experience helpful but not required8 - 10 years of experience with .net (VB.net, C#.net and asp.net) and SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
