Sr. Java FSE w/ReactJS (Hybrid) Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Engineer with experience in Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and cloud platforms (such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry), developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. (Hybrid, 3 days at office) You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Â Responsibilities: Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Tends to novices by providing learning tasks as well as work-related tasks, directs the work of advanced beginners, and helps them continue to grow. Achieves team commitments (and influences others to do the same) by using informal leadership & highly developed communication skills. Has oversight on design decisions and guides team to achieve key results for products assigned to them. Remediates issues using engineering principles and creates proactive design solutions for potential failures. Experience with Spring, Containerization, DevOps, and CI/CD. Drive TDD and ability to design Unit, Integration, Functional, and Non-Functional Tests (Reliability, Performance & Cyber security). Strong fundamentals in Java, API first design. Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including Microservices. Database experience in Oracle, PostgresSQL, etc. Cloud experience (i.e., AWS). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5+ years of experience as Java FSE). Experience working with cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Openshift Container Platform, and cloud-related technologies. Application development experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API stack. Experience in UI Frameworks like REACT and developing front-end screens from scratch. Experience in Relation Databases like Oracle and ORM frameworks. Spring Security and Spring Batch. Salary and Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $95K - $141,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
