Job Description:
Defines and documents system scope and objectives based on knowledge of the laboratory systems and user needs. Develops system specifications, performs system design across a variety of applications, and executes system test plans. Anticipates problems, provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities, and presents the solution to the business partners. Manages components of medium to large, complex size lab system projects, provides mentoring of system analysts, and provides support of others on lab system projects. Develops detailed system selection criteria based on functional and technical requirements. Builds relationships with the business partners (pathologists, scientists, lab technologists) and presents ideas clearly and conciselyEducationBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field / clinical specialty (Required)Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Experience3 Years experience in a lab (Required)5 Years experience in a related role of which 3 are in a healthcare / hospital environment.
