Overview:

(NYSE HAYW ) is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world, with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. This position is based in Charlotte.
The Sr. Manager of Channel Development manages Haywards North American channel strategy to drive revenue growth, optimize market share, and enhanced partner relationships. Responsible for the implementation of channel strategy, business plans, policies and growth initiatives relative to some of Haywards largest North America national accounts.
Responsibilities:
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners to drive partner advocacy and growth
- Develop and execute large national account growth strategies, upsell opportunities, and cross-selling initiatives to maximize account value
- Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve mutually beneficial, long-term agreements
- Manage channel agreements to ensure alignment with company strategy and financial forecast
- Implement channel sales plan to achieve agreed-upon growth and profit objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and run channel programs and initiatives
- Work closely with field teams to provide ongoing sales support to realize growth potential of channel partners
- Support senior leadership and internal teams with the latest partner insights and impactful developments
- Plan and coordinate annual key account meetings, trade shows, and conferences
- Monitor channel partner performance and provide regular sales and operational based on established KPIs
- Prepare sales presentations, performance analytics, and quarterly business reviews
- Monitor data, market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and best practices to drive continuous improvement
- 50% travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or related field; MBA is a plus
- Proven track record of success in sales management, partner relationships, and channel leadership roles, preferably in the pool equipment or related industry
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute channel strategies that align with overall business goals
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive operational efficiency and performance
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and driving results through collaboration and teamwork
- Experience traveling and conducting meetings remotely
