Overview:

As the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Logistics, you will interface with a diverse team across Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and external partners to support key tasks related to the planning & execution of shipping, labeling, packaging, and distribution activities at our Framingham manufacturing site to support our commercial product launches. We are looking for a professional who has extensive, proven experience in Import/Export and Global Trade Compliance logistic activities within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.

Location:This position is based in our Framingham, MA location and typically has a 5-day on-site expectation.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities Include: Develop process and manage transportation and logistics activities for domestic and international movements of Commercial Drug Product manufactured at our Framingham site to our CPOs, 3PLs for commercial use, as well as managing Drug Substance, Clinical Trial products, and Research & Development samples between Replimunes sites and various contract service providers. Act as a first line resource to manage the interface between functions pertaining to supply, transportation, logistics, and traceability issues. Prepare and review required shipping documentation including, but not limited to: End Use Letters, Proformas, Commercial Invoices, Prototype Exemptions, USDA Statements, TCSA Statements, and Import Licenses; etc., to comply with local Customs and Global Trade regulations. Ensure proper tariff codes and valuation is declared. Plan, execute, and track domestic and international shipments by maintaining close partnerships with contract manufacturers and couriers. Work with commercial operations, 3PLs, preferred couriers, and Supply Chain Warehouse team to identify potential shipping lanes to support Commercial product launches. Negotiate and establish freight contracts to support Replimune s ultra cold shipping requirements. Analyze logistics data (i.e, market trends, shipping points, carriers, vendor rates, etc) to enhance operations and/or systems processes and streamline logistics focused on revenue generation, identifying new opportunities to reduce net landed cost of goods. Prepare periodic reports on metrics and lane analysis, assist with the data gathering for financial budgets and forecasts, and analyze P&L activities to ensure profitability and recommend corrective actions Provide on-going analysis to determine the most efficient and economical methods for Replenishment and Inbound Transportation Build and maintain effective working relationships and provide resolution between 3PLs, CPOs, logistics and internal departments to include Replenishment, Merchants and Transportation Operations Coordinate with Replimune Finance for Duty and VAT payment when required. Analyze shipping temperature monitoring data and participate/lead investigations for excursions, in close collaboration with Quality. Assist in the management of courier service and global third-party logistics providers day-to-day performance and activities. Including Import License tracking. Consistently perform duties within policies and procedures required to maintain good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good distribution practices (GDP) compliance in the storage, distribution and returns. Maintain metric scorecards, relevant reports and KPI's for supply chain logistics and distribution activities which highlight achievements, performance gaps and improvement opportunities. Provide support to the Associate Director, Supply Chain Logistics & Distribution with ad-hoc tasks as required. Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Work Instructions to comply with Import/Export and Global Trade Compliance laws and regulations. Act as a thought partner with stakeholders to prospectively build flexible import/export strategies.

Qualifications:

Education, Registration & Certification Bachelors degree required, preferably in Supply Chain. APICS certification is a plus. Experience Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with import/export and Global Trade Compliance management in Life Sciences. Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience in the pharmaceutical industry moving high value commercial or clinical drugs, or within a cGMP supply chain environment and/or with GXP regulations. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Working knowledge of inventory management and distribution, including cold chain, and reverse logistics Proficient computer skills Ability to work independently and with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization Highly organized, results driven, problem solver Superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with different levels of management Highly motivated with the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment Excellent project management skills and ability to effectively juggle multiple ongoing projects to meet deadlines Ability to travel ERP (i.e. SAP, Oracle) experience is a plus Must be able to travel up to 10%
