Summary Reporting to the VP, Corporate Sales Smarsh is seeking a highly motivated individual with the drive and passion to be successful to join our expanding Sales team in the fast-paced, growing industry of digital archiving and business intelligence. As Sr. Manager, Corporate Sales you will lead a team of Corporate Sales Account Executives that focus on closing pivotal deals in corporate accounts. You will join highly motivated, energetic sales professionals that take pride in landing new customers, running strategic sales cycles and delivering the Smarsh message to a wide base of accounts across the Financial Services industry. How will you contribute?
    • Hire, train and lead a team of Corporate Sales Account Executives
    • Coach and develop a results-driven team on driving growth
    • Develop AE's for career growth within the Smarsh Sales organization
    • Conduct regular reviews with reps to guide expectations and drive desired results
    • Motivate Individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship
    • Drive continuous improvement throughout the team, raising improvement suggestions and/or pain points to Sales leadership
    • Report on sales metrics and forecast to senior sales management
    • Actively use salesforce.com to lead the sales process, and set standards for performance metrics
    • Accurately forecast and manage team pipeline on a monthly and quarterly basis using salesforce.com
    • Initiate and coordinate demand generation outreach with Marketing department personnel
What will you bring?
    • College Degree
    • 1+ years experience managing, hiring and training Corporate Sales Account Executives to achieve performance goals is highly preferred but not required
    • 4+ years experience in a technical sales role is required. Cloud/SaaS solution sale is required, knowledge of financial markets highly preferred
    • Excellent communication, business acumen, organizational, and time management skills are necessary to the success of the role
    • Experience selling multiple SKU's/products preferred
    • Experience developing a new territory and or experience running a lead generation team highly preferred
    • Robust Salesforce.com analysis and reporting and forecasting skillset is highly preferred
$130,000 - $160,000 a year The above base salary range represents Smarsh's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting. Any applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process. The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training.
