We offer live and on-demand professional development opportunities to grow your skillset and your career.What you'll do:The Senior Manager, Data Transformation will partner with the Director, Business Analytics to drive a transformation of the Bank's data culture and infrastructure. In addition to providing strategic leadership for the Bank's data program, this role will lead the Bank's Data Governance and Business Intelligence efforts and ensure that 1) the Bank's data is high quality and able to be trusted and 2) business users are equipped with the tools, training, and data sets they need to generate data-driven insights on the Bank's business, its customers, and the communities it serves. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills who has experience leading data governance and/or business intelligence practices at an enterprise-wide level.How you'll make an impact:
  • Data Modernization: You will play a key role in leading the Bank towards a modern, efficient data infrastructure and a culture that understands the importance of data.
  • Quality and Integrity: You will lead the implementation of a robust data governance framework that ensures all data is high quality and can be relied upon for decision making.
  • Actionable Insights: You will support the development of actionable business insights by ensuring employees have the business intelligence tools and training to analyze data.What you can expect:
    • Refine and implement the Bank's data governance strategy
    • Design and enforce data governance policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
    • Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure data governance practices align with regulatory standards
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of a data catalog and metadata repository within Collibra
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to address data governance issues and drive decision-making
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices
    • Refine and implement the Bank's business intelligence strategy
    • Drive the creation of a seamless user experience for data consumption
    • Oversee Bank-wide training efforts on Business Intelligence tools, best practices, and data interpretations
    • Lead efforts to design enterprise data solutions to replace and/or refactor existing reporting and end user computing tools
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and track key Business Intelligence metrics
    • Take an active leadership role in driving the Bank's data transformation efforts forward
    • Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure that all business user needs are captured and factored into the Bank's final data solution
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data systems are optimized for efficiency and reliability
    • Manage third party consultant relationships to maximize value delivered for the Bank
    • Manage and make recommendations around the Bank's data and business intelligence tool suite to optimize performance and ease of use
    • Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure work is properly prioritized and managed
    • Manage all staffing duties for the Business Intelligence and Data Governance teams, including hiring/separations, performance management, staff development and day-to-day employee related issues
    • Manage and allocate work across both teams and ensure the core responsibilities of each team are fulfilledWhat you'll bring:
      • Bachelors degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or similar quantitative field. Master's degree preferred
      • 10+ years of data and analytics experience
      • Direct experience implementing enterprise-wide data governance and/or business intelligence frameworks strongly preferred
      • Experience with Collibra (or other Master Data Management/Reference Data Management tools), Databricks, SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx is strongly preferred
      • Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills are required
      • High degree of independent thinking, organization, professionalism, use of logical reasoning, and ability to cope with interruptions and handle multiple tasks concurrently are required
      • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, and listening) are required
