Healthcare attorney responsible for providing strategic legal counseling, drafting agreements, and handling legal projects to help drive Sysmex's class-leading in-vitro diagnostics medical device business. Seeking a pragmatic in-house counsel and collaborative team player that will embrace Sysmex values and policies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide legal advice and guidance on complex issues relating to Sysmex's healthcare diagnostics business. Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements on behalf of the company. Additional responsibilities may include legal support for employment claims, litigation, compliance, information security, and privacy. Build a thorough understanding of the Sysmex business, its people, products, markets, facilities, customers and competitors, and utilize that knowledge in providing counsel to internal clients. Establish a strong rapport and working relationship with management and staff at all levels to continue fostering the proactive use of in-house legal counsel. Proactively review, analyze and remain current on a broad range of federal and local legal matters, and disseminate information appropriately across the organization in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Coach and supervise paralegal and support staff on individual projects. Manage outside counsel as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.Percentage of Travel:
